Soccer

The legal predecessor of Jászárokszállási VSE was founded in 1910 with a football department.

After the change of regime, sports life in our settlement expanded with the acquisition of the city title. As part of the youth education, we provide regular sports for more than 130 children. The young people who play sports at our association have an increasingly significant impact on the life of the city, thus strengthening our community-building role.

Jászárokszállás is a settlement in the Jász region, in the northwestern part of the Jászság. It was named after the Csörsz-árok, which was first mentioned in a document from 1067. During the Turkish period, the population decreased significantly, but due to people fleeing from neighboring villages, it began to grow in the 16th century. The settlement was the second most populous village in the Jászság region in the 16th century. Today it is with nearly 8,000 inhabitants.
